Life – Beauty & Travel Update (Part 2: Beauty)

So this post is going to consist of beauty products I’ve been loving the past few months that I haven’t spoken about on my blog before. They are all products I’ve purchased within the past 4 months.

  1. Pixi – Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

As you can probably tell from the near to empty bottle, I have been absolutely loving this toner. I have seen such a difference in my skin since using this product.
The product details stated on the Pixi website:
    • Exfoliates and purifies the skin with Glycolic Acid
    • Ginseng improves circulation and energizes
    • Aloe vera soothes and hydrates
    • Refines the appearance of pores
    • Gently accelerates cell renewal to reveal a brighter, glowing complexion
    • Balances, heals and soothes for radient, healthier looking skin
    • Alcohol free
    • Suitable for all skin types
    • Not tested on animals

2. Ole Henriksen – Truth Serum

I’ve been using this serum every single day for the past month & I love it. It’s a vitamin c and collagen anti-ageing serum that helps brighten and hydrate your skin. The serum is enriched with orange and green tea extracts which you already know the serum smells amazing.

Onto makeup:

3. Urban Decay – Naked Heat

I think I’ve got all the naked palette except for naked 1 & I think the heat as quickly became my absolute favourite. I love how different the shades are from my other eyeshadows. I’ve been loving using this palette for my everyday routine (which I think I might do a post about as my makeup routine has completely changed).

4. Dose of Colors – Mirame

This highlight is part of the Desi x Katy collaboration with Dose of Colours. I’m naturally quite tanned so this highlight is probably the best thing that’s came into my life. The tanned shade of the highlighter is the perfect color and has such a natural finish.

5. Too Faced – Born This Way

I’m not even kidding, I’ve have to buy 4 different foundations in the past 3 months just because my skin tone keeps changing (It was winter in Melbourne when I left so I was quite pale but then when I came to Asia I gradually got a lot more tan) Unfortunately this foundation shade is too light for me at the moment but I absolutely loved the way this foundation applied & looked. Its got such a good coverage but didn’t look cakey or feel thick.

6. Tarte – Rainforest of the sea water foundation

I don’t really like wearing foundation because I don’t like the feeling of having a layer of something on my skin but because I’ve got uneven skin and a few scars from pimples I pretty much have to wear something. I tried out this foundation and absolutely loved the texture, it’s a very light weight foundation thats also really hydrating. Not to mention it’s also a full coverage foundation.

7. Fenty Beauty – Match Sticks (Mocha)

I’ve been loving the Mocha match stick as a cream contour, it’s the perfect shade and I love the way it looks. When I first used it I used a beauty blender but found that it was really hard to blend out so I didn’t really like it but then I tried it out with a flat kabuki brush and it blended out so easily and nicely. Now I pretty much use this on a day to day base.

That’s all for new products I’ve been loving the past few months! I hope you guys enjoyed this post! 🙂 xoxo
