Free products from Sephora – First impression

So winter is around the corner here in Melbourne & the air is getting super dry causing my skins to be dry. Some of you know that I’ve been absolutely loving the Tarte Maracuja oil for my face, neck, lips, everything. I’ve had the travel size one for about a year & it finally finished so I purchased the full sized bottle.

Along with my purchase I was able to get free products because I have points on my membership card. I decided to share with you guys my first impressions of these products.

  1. Tarte Maracuja Oil

So this is one of my favourite products at the moment. When I started to incorporate this in my everyday routine I could see a huge difference in my skin. I get quite uncomfortable if I use oily products on my face so when I first got this products (it was a gift from my best friend) I was a bit apprehensive about how it would feel but I can tell you it’s not uncomfortable at all, I barley even feel it on my skin. A tiny drop goes a loooong way so this will last you a very long time.
  2. BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector (Opal)

So the first free product I chose was the Becca shimmering skin perfector in opal. If you read my post about highlighters (click here to read) you’ll know that the pressed powder version is my favourite highlighter that I use on a day to day base so when I saw the liquid version I didn’t even have to think about putting it in my basket.

I mean omg that bronzed glow. I would say this shade suits my skin tone better than any other product I’ve tried. This liquid version is just amazing & I can’t wait to start using this product more.
  3.   BECCA Evermatte Poreless Primer
    P1010432.JPG
I hardly use matte primers & when I do I only ever use the benefit porefessional or tarte timeless smoothing primer, I thought I’d give this one a go since I wanted to try out more becca products. I have to say I don’t love it, it’s quite thick so it’s hard to blend and it also feels a bit sticky. I applied the product on my hand just to see what it’s like so I’ll have to try it out on my face & give you guys my full review.
  4.   Tarte Brighter days
    P1010434.JPG
Again if read my last post about highlighters (click here to read) you’ll know that I’ve been really liking the lilac toned highlighters. I didn’t check reviews on this product before selecting it so I didn’t even know what shade this highlighter was. When I first squeezed it out it was just white so I thought it would come off as a silvery highlighter but then it turned to a gorgeous lilac.

This picture doesn’t do the highlighter justice. It was a stunning shade & blended out so easily. I will definitely be buying the full size version of this product.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

  1. Nice article, girl! 💕 What’s your usual everyday makeup routine anyway? 🙂 I think these products can help one achieve the natural “no-makeup” look!

  2. I need to try that Tarte maracuja oil, because my skin is also getting super dry even though it’s close summer here. Skin problems never ends doesn’t matter what you do, I feel like. xx
