April – Haul part 1

I’ve decided to go on a little shop this weekend to Sephora & a few other places to buy a couple of new products & a few products I already love. Also my mum has come to visit me in Australia after a short trip to Korea where she bought me a few different products & I thought I’d share them all with you guys. For new products, I’ll try them out & write my thoughts on them at the end of this week, I will put “***” on all new products I will be reviewing. This will also be a two part post because I might have bought a few too many things.

(***) – Sephora charcoal micellar cleansing water, which is for purifying and detoxifying. I tried it out last night & I got to say I was surprised because it took off more makeup than I thought it would.
On the Sephora website it says:
In a use test on 32 volunteers after the 1st use:
– 91% said that the micellar cleansing water efficiently cleanses the face and eyes
– 94% of women said that the micellar cleansing water detoxifies skin
So I definitely think it’s worth trying, I’ll test it out more over the week & let you guys know how it works for me but so far I like it.

(***) – Sephora glitter eyeshadow in Hawaiian beach – This eyeshadow is more of a bronzey rose gold colour, it looks gold in the first & third picture but the swatch is pretty much exactly it.

(***) – Mario Badescu Facial Spray with aloe, herbs & rosewater. I LOVE Mario Badescu so I decided to try out this facial spray which was only 9 Australian dollars. I tried a spray last night & the smell isn’t my favourite (My boyfriend said it smells like old castles so if anyone can relate to that haha) I think it’s because the rose scent is quite diluted but regardless the smell isn’t TOO bad.

(***) Cover FX custom enhancer drops in moonlight. This was the last one on the shelf at Sephora & I snatched that so quick, I can already tell this is going to be my new favourite thing.

Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder, I’ve had the small travel size one from a gift I received & I loved it but it was impossible getting enough product out because there was such tiny holes for the powder so I decided to get the full size. This product works so well for me, it makes my skin look FLAWLESS & so smooth. I used it yesterday morning & had a really long day, even after getting home late the product was still as perfect as it was at the beginning of the day.

(***) Estee Lauder Little Black Primer. I decided to get the small primer to try it out, I tested it out & it gave my lashes a bit of volume but I also think it made my eyelashes look a little weird because it spread out my individual lashes so it didn’t look that great but I’ll try it out more over the week & update you on it.

– Banila Co. clean it zero is my all time favourite cleanser, I’ve spoken about it a lot in previous posts. It’s an oil cleanser that starts of as a balm then turns into an oil, this cleanser gets rid of every single bit of make up I have on & doesn’t leave the face feeling oily.
– Banila Co. clean it zero foam cleanser. I haven’t tried this product out yet but if it works as well as the oil cleanser than I’m sure it’s incredible but I will test it out & let you guys know!

I will be posting part 2 tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed this post!

Responsible journalism is not about sensationalizing things; it’s about raising the right questions and laying the foundations for solutions to problems. In effect, it’s just one man’s word who has access to the front pages of a leading magazine.
